limited Visa card use
Sam's Club is owned and operated by Walmart. Walmart accepts Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, as do the vast majority of retail/wholesale chains located throughout the U.S. BUT NOT SAM'S CLUB!!! Sam,s Club accepts the Visa credit card at its gas station only, but not inside the store! Visa debit cards are,however,accepted inside the store and at the gas pumps. Yet even Visa debit cards are still not accepted at some Sam,s Club locations. This is all very confusing! Since Sam,s Club maintains they don,t accept Visa credit cards (except at the gas pumps) because of the high processing fees compared with Walmart,s discounted rates with Mastercard, then why not, if this is, in fact,truly the case,do away with all Visa card use (debit and credit) altogether. Or, for everyones sake, agree to accept a negociated fee (discounted rate) with Visa for store-wide acceptance of their card (like Mastercard). Either ALL-IN or ALL-OUT for Visa- not halfway!!!
